We’re upgrading our Text Alert System on September 7 to enhance reliability, consistency, and compliance.
How does this affect members?
Beginning on September 7, you will see text messages for alerts and multi-factor authentication (MFA) come from new numbers. While the phone number for account alerts is still being finalized, we do know that the number for Multi-Factor Authentication will be 912-205-6065.
As part of the upgrade, if you are receiving account text alerts now, you will need to turn those alerts back on in Digital Banking after the September 7 switch.
What should I do at this time?
This change will only impact text alerts. If you are receiving your alerts via email, no action is needed. For text alerts, now is a great time to check on what alerts you are currently receiving. Take a screenshot of the alerts you have now and make note of those that your Text Alerts turned on. This will make turning the same text alerts back on easier. Any text alert that you wish to receive must be reactivated on or after September 7. Due to the nature of the upgrade, there is nothing you need to do to your alerts before September 7th.
We will send more reminders through Digital Banking as the date approaches, including the specific phone number that account alerts will be coming from.
